Influence of Double-Pulse Electrodeposition Parameters on the Performance of Nickel/Nanodiamond Composite Coatings

In this study, using 45# carbon steel as the substrate, a first experimental analysis was carried out on polarisation behaviour of different component wattage plating solutions in order to determine reasonable content nanodiamond particles nickel/nanodiamond composite solution. Secondly, effect double-pulse forward and reverse duty cycle working time performance then investigated by testing thickness, hardness surface roughness observing micromorphology. The results show that, when solution is 5 g/L, anti-pulse time, pulse parameters are 20 ms, 0.3 0.2, respectively, layer prepared double has good comprehensive performance. This research work provides technical support for optimisation process preparation coatings electrodeposition.
